Terms of Service – UX Rotterdam 2026

1. Application
By purchasing or otherwise obtaining a ticket for UX Rotterdam 2026 and/or by participating in the event, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Attendance is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct, which will be available on our website.
2. Ticketing
- Ticketing and registration are handled by external partners.
- All prices are exclusive of Dutch VAT (21%), which is shown separately on your invoice.
- Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
- Payment by invoice may be offered. If payment is not received 14 days before the event date, we reserve the right to invalidate the tickets. You remain legally obligated to pay the full amount of your order.
- Tickets include access to all keynotes, workshops (first come, first seated), and catering as described on the ticket page. Travel, accommodation, and visa costs are not included.
3. Acquiring Tickets for Others
If you purchase tickets on behalf of others (e.g., team members), or transfer a ticket, you confirm that you have their permission to register them and share their contact details. Access to the event is conditional on the acceptance of these Terms of Service and related policies by the attendee.
4. Ticket Transfer
- Tickets are transferable to another person until 1 April 2026.
- To transfer a ticket, contact info@uxrotterdam.com with your order number and the new attendee details.
- Only the person named on the ticket will be granted access to the event.
5. Event Changes or Cancellation
- We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or change the format of UX Rotterdam 2026 at our discretion.
- In case of full cancellation, the full ticket price will be refunded.
- In case of partial cancellation, a proportional refund will be issued.
- We are not liable for additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or visas resulting from event changes or cancellations.
6. Program and Schedule Changes
- We reserve the right to modify the event program, schedule, and speakers.
- If a speaker becomes unavailable, we will attempt to find a suitable replacement. Such changes do not qualify for a ticket refund.
7. Location
- UX Rotterdam 2026 is scheduled to take place at Zuidplein Theater, Gooilandsingel 95, 3083 DP Rotterdam, Netherlands.
- We reserve the right to change the venue within Rotterdam or convert the event to online format if needed. Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to refunds for travel or accommodation.
8. Accessibility
We aim to make UX Rotterdam as inclusive as possible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before purchasing your ticket at info@uxrotterdam.com so we can discuss available options.
9. Liability
- We are not liable for damages caused by minor negligence, except where this concerns essential contractual obligations or injury to life, body, or health.
- Our liability for essential contractual obligations is limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract.
- This limitation of liability also applies to third parties acting on our behalf.
10. Documentation and Recordings
- We may produce photos, videos, and audio recordings during UX Rotterdam 2026 for promotional and documentation purposes.
- By attending, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free right to use such material in any medium, commercial or non-commercial.
- Some tickets may include access to keynote recordings post-event. Recordings are for personal use only; sharing, broadcasting, or public display is prohibited.
11. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. The competent court for disputes is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
