Last updated: 04-08-2025

For us at UX Rotterdam, transparency and privacy are extremely important. This document outlines how we collect, store, and process personal data when you register for UX Rotterdam 2026, participate in the event, or use our website.

1. Registering for an Event

When you register for UX Rotterdam 2026, we may ask you to provide personal data such as:

  • Name and contact details (email, phone)
  • Company and profession
  • Payment information (processed via our payment partner)

We use this information to:

  • Issue and validate your ticket
  • Provide invoices for accounting purposes
  • Communicate essential event information (e.g., schedules, venue updates)
  • Send you post-event updates or information about future events (only if you opt-in)
  • Generate anonymized statistics (e.g., percentage of UX designers vs researchers) to improve our events and inform sponsors — never including identifiable details

All ticketing data is processed via Tickettailor (ticketing partner) and payment via Stripe (payment processor) in compliance with their privacy policies.

2. Participating in the Event

Your attendance is governed by our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. By joining the event, you consent to the handling of your data as described in this policy.

3. Event Documentation

We may capture photos, videos, and audio recordings at the event. These may include audience images and interactions. By attending, you grant us non-exclusive rights to use such media for event documentation and promotion.

4. Feedback & Surveys

We may collect post-event feedback to improve our conferences. Feedback may be submitted anonymously. If feedback includes identifying details (e.g., for raffle participation), these are separated from the content and destroyed after processing.

5. Newsletter Sign-Up

You may sign up for our newsletter either directly on our website or during event registration.

  • We use mail chimp for email marketing in line with their privacy policies.
