What is your vision on our UX industry? What are exciting innovations that impacts your work as well?
More and more companies realise that design is a core contributor to digital product development and are expecting designers to help produce value. For this to happen, designers need to understand the business impact of research outcomes and design proposals.
At the same time, product managers and engineers need to adjust their expectations and ways of working to give space for designers to contribute.
I foresee Product Operations teams whose job it is to make the entire digital product development organisation run in collaborative and aligned ways, basing decisions on research insights and measured user behaviour, and measuring the process to determine where project flows, people skills, and ways of working can be optimised.
DesignOps specialists will play a key role in those teams.
